I wish someone had told me . . .

I wish someone had told me that being a teenager is complicated. We have to deal with so many things. We have to deal with puberty, acne, boyfriends/girlfriends, younger siblings, school, work, teachers, students, haters, and friends. We're young and that is too much on our shoulders. I thought being a teen would be fun, the free life away from parents. It's not! It's hell, so far as I can tell. We have to do so much. You would think turning sixteen was fun. "SWEET 16" NO! More like "SOUR 16". I'm still doing even more work at school, 11th grade. I still don't have a car. I still have to deal with my little sisters. I still have to deal with haters. Welcome to the teen world! Adult life here I come!
